Lenticular Animation Tutorial in After Effects

In this tutorial I show you how to create a lenticular effect in After Effects, without any plugins. The slice tool in Photoshop will be used to cut up the images into slices. Which will then be positioned and animated in After Effects. Watch the Tutorial HERE.

Sliding Puzzle Animation

Photoshop was used with the Slice tool to slice up the image into square sections. In After Effects the square sections were used as textures for Element 3D and applied to the square puzzle pieces. Each puzzle piece is animated with the aux channels.

Star Light – Attempting Night Photography

Star Light, Star Bright. Here are my first attempts at photographing the night sky.  I played with the settings on the camera but kept to – f/4 ISO 640 and Exposure time of 25 seconds, as they seemed to give the best results.  I also shot RAW so I could make more adjustments in Photoshop.

Wrestling Lines

I used the roto brush in After Effects to isolate the wrestlers, then opened the video in Photoshop and applied the Fractalius filter.  I then added some animated Trapcode 3D Stroke in After Effects to give the sequence something to start from.
