Logo through a slit like the Film4 logo ident

This is my attempt at creating the Film4 logo ident, using solid layers and masks, along with the CC Split effect.

Graffiti Animation

The graffiti animation was created using the AutoFill plugin for After Effects. I used a preset of AutoFill and adjusted some settings, then placed the animation onto some tracked footage of a wall.

Sliced Logo Animation

Sliced logo animation made in After Effects with the Element3D plug-in. Logo was sliced up using masks for each piece and extruded as separate parts.

Animated Text with Trapcode Tao

Starting with the Arial font I traced each letter with a point light to create a path for the Trapcode Tao plug-in. Each letter and number has it’s own comp, so I could drag the letters into another comp to create words. Duplicating the letters and offsetting them I time-reverse the layers to create a …

Character from Logo

I created a character from my logo in Adobe Illustrator and animated the eyes, ears, hair, and mouth in Adobe After Effects. I was going to add hands and feet but decided that it looked weird.

Inflating Logo

Inflating Logo using Trapcode Tao with animated Tao lights with a small amount of fractal displacement.  RedGiant Universe Glo Fi was used for the Designs word of the logo.
